It is colorless, miscible with various organic solvents and soluble in dilute acids. It has water absorption and stronger alkalinity than quinoline. It has the smell similar to anise oil and anisole.
Product characteristics
It is colorless flake crystals or liquids, with smell like bitter almond and anthriscus cerefolium, and sweet taste. It is soluble in ethanol and non-volatile oil, soluble in dilute inorganic acids and the majority of organic solvents, and slightly soluble in water.
Application instructions
It can be used as corrosion inhibitor, antioxidant, insecticide, catalyst, electroplating and metallurgical additives, polymer, etc.
