Sinochem Holdings Provides Financial Assistance for Chinese Impoverished Students |

A batch of financial donations raised by Sinochem Holdings' 12,000 employees was recently handed to impoverished students in four provinces and two autonomous regions as part of a charity drive aimed at assisting students in need to complete their academic studies. Beneficiaries include Ar Horqin Banner and Linxi County of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Pingshan County of north China's Hebei Province, Gulang County of northwest China's Gansu Province, Delingha and Dachaidan of northwest China's Qinghai Province, Gamba County of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, and Weixi County of southwest China's Yunnan Province. The charity initiative titled "Dream Come True" is targeted at aiding the designated areas and areas paired with Sinochem Holdings. Stable financial support has been provided to local students from poverty-stricken families, ranging from the support for elementary school education to college education. Since its launch in 2013, the charity initiative has raised about 11.9 million yuan from Sinochem Holdings' employees and helped more than 9,000 students in pursuing further studies. |
