On September 25, Quanzhou Petrochemical under Sinochem Energy embraced its first milestone of its ethylene device by reaching 1 million tons of output. It indicated Sinochem Energy's integrated refining and chemical production scaled to a new height, given the ethylene device is the core of the entire project. 

Since its start of running on September 20, 2020, the team stuck to tapping the potential of the device and exploring operating conditions, and expanding the manufacturing load and output in a programmatic manner to ensure a safe, stable long-term and full-load operation. The running cycle of the cracking furnace kept rising. At present, various economic and technical indicators of the ethylene device have taken the lead in the industry. In particular, the diene yield and ethylene energy consumption level rank top in China.
