At the 2016 Annual Meeting on Green and Low-Carbon Transformational Development and the 6th International Carbon-Value Award held on January 13th, Sinochem subsidiary Lantian Co., Ltd., with its comprehensive advantages in R&D in green industry chain, safe and environment-friendly production, green and low-carbon products, won the WEC Ecological Practice Award of 2016 International Carbon-Value Award, becoming the only enterprise that wins this honor in the chemical engineering sector at this edition.  

This annual meeting was hosted by the Organizing Committee of the World Economic and Environmental Conference (WEC). At the meeting, winners of all categories of the 2016 International Carbon-Value Award nominated by the Organizing Committee of the WEC were released. The aim of this endeavor was to commend the best players in guiding the green and low-carbon development mode. Winners of this edition cover 3 individuals and 22 units.
