Mr. Chen was appointed Vice President of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. in June 2023.

Before taking the current position, he was Managing Director of Oil Products Marketing Department of Sinopec Corporation, Chairman of Sinopec Marketing Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Sinopec (Hong Kong) Ltd. Previously he served as Vice Chairman, President of Sinopec Marketing Co., Ltd., Vice Chairman and President of Sinopec Group Marketing Industrial Corporation, Company Representative and President of Sinopec Guangdong Oil Products Marketing Company, President of Sinopec Hubei Oil Products Marketing Company, and Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection and Vice President of Sinopec Guangxi Oil Products Marketing Company.

Mr. Chen graduated from the Applied Chemistry Department of Shenyang University of Chemical Technology with a major in Organic Chemistry, and obtained Master Degree in Western Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He is a senior engineer.
